First we went to the famous Pitt Rivers museum, which is easily one of the coolest places in Oxford. You've undoubtedly heard of the shrunken heads, and it has a whole host of other things. I also love the natural history museum, which was showcasing a beautiful collage of Butterfly wings (see above.)

Towards the middle of the afternoon I was running out of cultural pursuits to entertain Sean with, so we went around the high street shops, as well as Blackwells bookshop which is easily one of the prettiest book shops there is. The kid's section at the moment is so pretty due to the imminent arrival of the festive season.
Obviously any tourist in Oxford would take the time out to do gratuitous outfit posts in front of pretty doors and famous landmarks such as the Radcliffe camera. I've always wondered how really respected outfit bloggers come up with such amazing photographs of outfits, I always feel so self concious when posing outside with people walking past me. In Oxford it is generally more accepted to stand around like a div waiting impatiently for your photographer to work your camera, here are Sean and myself's attempts:

Sean was carrying around 'The Waves' by Virginia Woolf. I always love it when people carry around books in their hands in normal society, I'm not sure why.

Sean's jacket is from Primark, the scarf is (and I quote) from a: 'little Indian shop', not sure about the boots but apparently they were expensive. The jeans are girl's jeans and they were probably from Primark but I shall check up on that.

My dress is Primark, the coat is Topshop, belt Primark, shoes Primark, Cambridge Satchel.

I did my eyes with Maybelline gel eyeliner, lips are (slightly bleeding) Ruby Woo by Mac. I also put white eyeliner on the bottom part of my eyes because apparently it makes your eyes look bigger.

As the day drew to a close, we visited Alice's shop, after having realised I hadn't been in there since I was very young.

Though we didn't buy anything, its a perfect example of 'quaint' Oxford, the sort of Oxford I miss. On Monday I shall be back in London and hopefully blogging about exciting things there.
Have lovely weekends!
