This was a shop window in Kensington, a posh area of London. I've visited Bloomsbury and South Kensington so far and I can safely they they differ largely from Mile End, which by contrast offers a London tourist pitbull terriers and dodgy looking friend chicken shops. Thats not to say I don't like it, it has it's own charm I suppose, as well as being very close to Brick Lane and Shoreditch (Hipster breeding grounds.) Zennie and I went to the V and A and the Hummingbird bakery there, and it was probably the first time I;ve ever spend two pounds on a cupcake. I was going to take pictures to mark the occasion but my cake got squashed, as you can see from the picture below. Its typical really.
Anyway, outfit post time. This dress is my absolute favourite. It was from River Island sale, £7.50. Probably the best bargain ever. It gave me that euphoric feeling as I left the shop that you can only really get when you've got an originally £40 dress for under a tenner. The cardigan and boots are Primark, bag is homemade (scroll down to find out how to make it!)
Zennie is wearing a cape as you can see, which is pretty awesome as not many people can get away with capes. I for one once tried one on in Topshop and looked like I was wearing a poncho. Her bag is a Cambridge Satchel (we both have one because they are well, awesome.)
Bet the Cherry blossom girl doesn't get this shit.
And as for Halloween costumes...This was my attempt at being a pagan sacrifice. The eyebrows were the best thing about the outfit, I would honestly like to look like this all the time.
Anyway, Happy Halloween to all! Watch some scary films and eat spooky cupcakes!
